Down from this room, make sure no one flees. The walkable area is a 4x4 square border, if you move into any room outside of this border, you'll walk into a dt. Also, there are 2 sets of 2 hamatulas scripted to patrol the border moving clockwise. A good way to approach this is to unlock them all yourself and have a tank run 3e, s + area, then tell the rest of the group to run 3es. Also, since these are tunnel rooms, after you've secured a clean room past the doors, make sure you go back and close the entrances to the tunnel rooms. Rooms in this 3x3 square cause spells to fail, or change target (ie. doom bolt may hit a cleric) Dispater has wimpy on and flees at pretty hurt, but not too difficult a stun. You can also bone wall. You may want a summoner sit back and avoid the fight if you feel you cant kill him in one go, since it's a long walk back from a portallable room. So whenever you get near Zafpht, there will be 3 or more consecutive west exists leading to him. If you notice this pattern of exits, have a mage magic missile for him west. Also, there are no aggros or assisters in this area aside from burning fiends, when you start seeing fiends(there are 3) that means that you're near Zafpht. For safety i suggest sending the tank in the direction you want to scout in and try kill zaf;kill fiend before moving the rest of the group in that direction or have a summoner (preferrably sneaker) scout for zafpht and summon the group to the nearest safe room. burning fiends are 3x oblit/enshroud and have ~9k hp, so you'll want to fight them separate from zafpht. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zafpht (51 Mu?
